Using this website indicates that you accept these term regardless of whether or not you choose to register with us or order from us. Introduction

You will be able to access most areas of this Website without registering your details with us. Certain areas of this Website are only open to you if you register. We may revise these terms and conditions at any time by updating this posting. You should check this Website from time to time to review the then current terms and conditions, because they are binding on you. Certain provisions of these terms and conditions may be superseded by expressly designated legal notices or terms located on particular pages of this Website. If you do not wish to accept any new terms and conditions after we have given notice, you should not continue to use this Website.

Ordering / Payment / Pricing

You are deemed to have placed an order with us by ordering via any of the methods mentioned below. As part of our checkout process you will be given the opportunity to check your order and to correct any errors. We will send you an order acknowledgement via email (providing a valid email address has been given) detailing the products you have ordered. Our acceptance of an order takes place when we dispatch the order. We will send you a dispatch confirmation by email (providing a valid email address has been given). When we dispatch the order the purchase contract will be made even if your payment has been processed immediately, unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled your order.

We may refuse to accept an order where:
(a) the goods are not available
(b) where we cannot obtain authorisation for your payment
(c) if there has been a pricing or product description error
(d) if you do not meet any eligibility criteria set out in our terms and conditions.

Orders can be place through our online basket and paid for via the Google Basket Checkout. Please note that your debit / credit card is not charged at this point and payment is not taken until the day of dispatch. An automatically generated Google Checkout order acknowledgement will be sent via email, detailing the products you have ordered, providing a valid email address has been provided.

We also accept Telephone Orders using a secure telephone payment terminal. Alternatively we can also accept PayPal as a method of payment by emailing or telephoning with your requirements and we will send a PayPal Invoice to your chosen email address. We will also accept Cheque or Post Orders by filling in our offline order requisition (at the bottom of this page) or sending a signed printed copy of your basket items along with your full name, delivery address and payment (cheque or postal order made payable to Streetstyle UK Ltd) to the following address:

All prices include VAT (where applicable) at the current rates. We reserve the right to express the price exclusive of VAT, but we shall show VAT separately and include it in the total price. Where we charge separately for packing, carriage and insurance and other relevant charges, the appropriate rates are set out in our specified pricing structure shown in our Delivery section on this Website. A VAT invoice is available on request, please email [email protected] to request an invoice.

Our prices are reviewed periodically. Should an incorrect price be displayed, we reserve the right to refuse orders as set out in ‘Ordering From Us’ (above). We reserve the right to revise the quoted price in the event of unforeseen and extraordinary expenses for the Company appertaining the goods. Quotes and Pro-Forma Invoices are valid for 30 days from the date stated on the quote / invoice and if cost prices change, that invoice may become void.

Stock Availability
We stock a limited quantity of our garden lighting and accessories offered on this website and many of our fittings are stocked to order, quantities listed on the product description are not an indication of the quantity available in stock at the time of purchasing. For urgently required orders, large quantities or stock level enquiries, please do not hesitate to contact us on 0771 279 2143 or email to [email protected] for stock availability and delivery timescales prior.

Delivery Timescales
We aim to fulfil all orders from stock and it is our aim to achieve a speedy delivery on all orders, please allow the following delivery times:
* Items in stock: 3 - 4 working days
* Items stocked to order or to be delivered direct from supplier: we aim to achieve a delivery time of 7 working days from date of purchase but we ask you to please allow 28 working days for delivery. Goods that are temporarily out of stock should be dispatched within 4 - 8 weeks, if any item(s) cannot be dispatched within a reasonable time we will notify you (the customer) of a likely delivery date and you will be invited to confirm acceptance of this or given the option to cancel your order. For products made to order or to customers required specifications every effort will be made to deliver these orders within the quoted delivery time.

Delivery Costs
A standard delivery charge of £6.25 is applied to all orders under £200.00. Free Delivery applies to all product orders over £200.00 to UK Mainland only excluding Scottish Highlands & Islands, Northern Ireland & Isle of Man, Isle of Wight & Isle of Scilly, Channel Islands, Ireland (Rep. of).

a standard delivery charge of £7.25 is applied to all orders under £300.00. Free Delivery applies to all orders over £300.00.

Delivery to UK Mainland Only
Deliveries normally take place between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday. If you have any special delivery requirements or instructions please contact us, we will do all we can to satisfy them. Please provide your best daytime delivery address (this must be an address where there will be someone available to sign for the items) and daytime contact telephone number (preferably mobile). Delivery confirmation will be provided after despatch (subject to a valid email address being provided). The company will not accept any liability for late delivery of the goods and delivery time will not be of the essence of the contract. The Company will not accept liability for non-delivery, where this is caused by circumstances beyond our control.

Our FREE DELIVERY obligation only stands for the first delivery attempt. In the case of an order which is undelivered / uncollected and returned to us, we reserve the right to charge for a second delivery which you will have to pay before we can resend the goods. Should you wish to cancel the undelivered / uncollected order after it has been returned to us, there will be a minimum charge of £10.00 + VAT to cover our administration costs. We, The Garden Lighting Shop will not be held responsible for undelivered / uncollected orders.

It is the customer’s responsibility to provide us with your best daytime delivery address. Delivery is deemed to be successful once the products have arrived at the address provided for delivery. Once delivered the responsibility for the product is deemed to be the cardholder’s / customer and any loss or damage to the product is then at your own risk. This is particularly notable when deliveries are made to public/work places such as hospitals, hotels etc. where the signature of any authorized body are deemed to be proof of delivery.

Damaged in transit
Should there be damage in transit, this must be notified to The Garden Lighting Shop by e-mail to [email protected] within 72hrs of receipt of delivery (receipt will be deemed as signed for P.O.D recorded by our carrier). Please note that the courier will ask you to sign for the goods on delivery. If you or any members acting on your behalf notice that the outer packaging is damaged then please sign the delivery paperwork as “package damaged” or if you so wish refuse to accept the delivery. If you or any members acting on your behalf have not been given an opportunity to examine the goods, please sign for them “unexamined.” Damaged goods must be returned to us (collection can be arranged for large items / consignments) and the cost of your return postage will be refunded within reason, please use the most economical service available. Damaged goods will be replaced or refunded, whichever preferred.

Product descriptions & specifications
All dimensions, descriptions, wattages and specifications given are supplied to us by the manufacturers and are deemed to be accurate to the best of our knowledge, these are given as a guide only. Care has been taken with descriptions and finishes of all items shown on the website but due to limitations of photography colours of the product, images are for illustration purposes only and the goods you receive may differ slightly to those displayed on your monitor. If you have any queries please call or email prior to placing an order. If you are dissatisfied with an item you may of course return it (Subject to conditions of returns). All products are produced to the European and British quality and safety standard specification and comply with current legislation.

Cancellations prior to despatch
If you wish to cancel your order prior to dispatch please notify us in writing by email to [email protected] before we have dispatched the goods to you. Orders place through the Google Checkout Basket are not charged at the time of placing the order and are not subject to a refund. Telephone orders will be refunded within 48hrs of cancellation.

Cancellations / Returns (before the "7 day cooling of period")
If you wish to cancel and return your order where goods have already been dispatched or received by you within the 7 day ‘cooling off’ period, please email [email protected] within 7 working days from date from the receipt of the order (the received date of delivery will be as recorded by our carriers) stating the reason for return and we will email you a returns authorisation form and number for you to fill in and return with your parcel. Cancellations / returns will not be accepted by telephone and must be made in writing and we will not accept returned items without prior notification or a returns form and number. We are unable to accept returns on items or products specifically listed on our website as ‘made to order’ or which have been made to customers required specifications.

Cancellations / Returns (after the “7 day cooling off period”)
If you wish to cancel and return your order after the 7 day ‘cooling off’ period, you may request a return up to 45 days from receipt of your order (the receipt date of delivery will be as recorded by our carriers), please email [email protected] stating the reason for return for us to consider. If you request is accepted we will email you a returns authorisation form and number for you to fill in and return with your parcel. Cancellations / returns will not be accepted by telephone and must be made in writing and we will not accept returned items without prior notification or a returns form and number. We are unable to accept returns on items or products specifically listed on our website as ‘made to order’ or which have been made to customers required specifications.

Returning Items
Unwanted items must be returned within 14 working days from date of receipt of returns form / number. Whilst in your possession the responsibility for the product and its packaging is deemed to be your responsibility, you have a statutory duty to take reasonable care to ensure that there is no loss or damage to the product, contents and packaging. If reasonable care is not exercised, we may make a claim against you for not exercising this statutory duty.

All items must repacked their original boxes and be in a re-saleable condition, all labels and instruction leaflets intact. The product should not have been used, altered or damaged in any way and the box / packaging must not be “taped up” or “wrote up on”. Products which are not normal stock items and were originally despatched by our suppliers, we will in turn return these products to our suppliers on receipt. Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer. Collection of unwanted items can be arranged but the cost of collection will be deducted from the refund. Responsibility of the goods remains that of the customer until safely received by The Garden Lighting Shop and we accept no liability for goods lost in transit on its return to us.

Unwanted Items Refunds
Refunds are subject to the product being returned to us in its original condition and will only be issued providing the above procedures have been followed. Once the goods have been received back and checked, a refund will be authorised. A refund will not be given if the product is not able to be re-sold or returned to our supplier. Products which are not normal stock items and were originally despatched by our suppliers, we reserve the right to pass on any re-stocking / handling charges imposed by the manufacturer up to a maximum of 15% of the original purchase price. A minimum charge of 10% of the total price will be deducted from the value of refunded items to cover our administration costs. Refunds will be made within 30 days from receipt of of the returned items.
