Description

The large bronze Statue of Mercury shows him carrying his Casaceus in his left and wearing his winged helmet. Known as the messenger of the Gods, he was fast and cunning taking messages between the mortals and the gods.
The Mercury Statue has wings on his sandals and is being blown by an effigy of the north wind to speed him to his next destination.
The original Bronze Statue of Mercury stands in the Museo Nazional del Bargello, Florence, Italy.
Standing 1700 mm high it looks impressive individual piece or as a Garden Fountain centrepiece. Pond surround is not included in the price.
